The Min River which runs through the city is 150 kilometers long. The coast line is 1,137 kilometers long. Along the coast, there are 415 island sand islets. There are over 500 types of marine life, 120 types of freshwater fishes and 50 kinds of minerals. Fuzhou has exceptional terrestrial advantages including abundant hot springs.
